Evan passed of an overdose on 4/20/24.
I am still struggling with guilt because our last messages were an argument.
I’m dedicating this post to Evan and this is my apology to him…

Dear Evan,

I am sorry for stepping out of your corner. I am sorry I wasn’t there for you in Austin.
I love you with every ounce of my being and am beyond proud for the times where you did fight for our relationship. You really showed me what it meant to not give up when thoughts came creeping in.
I am going to miss you EVER so much, but I have peace knowing I’ll see you in heaven again.
Remember, wild horses couldn’t drag us away. This overdose isn’t taking you away from the hope and love of Jesus Christ. Drugs don’t get the final say for you.
You are my fighter and my hero.
I will continue to advocate for quality treatment and care for those struggling.

Sincerely,

Gloria

P.S. Molly needs healing. She loves you too…
