This morning I was reminded of the woman who boarded my dad’s dogs while he was in rehab. My husband and I couldn’t have them in our apartment. I was in a tizzy, trying to figure out logistics in a tight timeframe, and she made this extra piece so easy for me. She shared that she was a leader for Celebrate Recovery, and was the first person who made me feel like this journey didn’t need to be a lonely one.
