My son is addicted to dexamathorphine which is a cough medication. He started when he was 17 and he’s 21 now. He also has autism and major depressive disorder. People don’t realize how dangerous and addictive this is. It’s also called Skittles and robotripping. This is the first time I have posted. I don’t talk about it because people blame the parents a lot of times. He has been in and out of behavioral hospitals and a few times in rehab. I’m just at the end of my rope. I’m afraid I’m going to loose him. He thinks he can handle it.
I'm afraid I'm going to loose my son who is addicted to cough medication, any advice?
