Win: Dad has been dating a woman - I think! He hasn’t actually told me! But she’s getting him out of the house to events and parties and dates, etc. so I’m calling that a win because it is CONNECTION with someone who isn’t me or his brother!

Wins: husband doing so so well, so proud of how he’s handling uncertainty and big decisions lately. Also helps we escaped winter for a summer Christmas holiday with family but still - it’s makes me so happy to see.
Worry: he’s keen to plan a trip to see his brother who has struggled with heroin addiction and maybe still does really, we never know, in another country on his own. This is a brother he’s mostly avoided interacting with for the last year, to protect himself so I know it’s a big deal for him to feel ready to do it.
